i’m a life liver and community lover by disposition, and a writer, editor, social media artist and sometimes photographer by vocation.
i tell stories about the people and things that are moving vancouver, and the rest of the world, forward.
i work with and on a variety of organizations and projects - including a community media arts centre, a breakfast lecture series for creatives, a women’s media collective, a credit union board of directors election campaign, a public spaces community project, a sustainable first nations-owned marina, and other adventures…
i’m a conceptual thinker, creative problem solver, dreamer, connector, contrarian and pragmatist.
my goal is to help empower others to make positive choices for themselves, their communities and the planet. sharing and crafting stories that celebrate the work of others toward such ends is my passion.
THE BLOG:
- a work in progress.
- a place to park my digital identity: photos, links and ephemera collected on- and off-line.
- the playground for a future, more well-developed blog dedicated to the curation of life and media, articulated with attention to form, nuance and legacy.
- a narrative exploration of how stories are told in the digital age through the reclamation of metadata and the consolidation of language.
